Contains sexual abuse - Questioning the legality of certain incidents.
Obviously laws change from country to country, and state to state, so we can't be entirely accurite, but I was after some infomation about some incidents from my childhood.
I have known for awhile these things were wrong, but it only occured to me today that they may have actually been wrong in a legal sense too.The age of sexual consent in Queensland, Australia, is 16.
1. A 16 year old boy goes to 2nd base with a willing (but naive) 14 year old girl (he later informs her he was using her but I'm pretty sure that dosen't effect the legal status)
2. A 19 year old man goes to 2nd base with a 14 year old girl (also her 12 year old sister). 14yo pushes him away, but was it wrong for him to do it in the first place.
3. If these incidents are illegal and a parent is aware of them, is it wrong/illegal for the parent not to report them?
I believe the incidents were too long ago to do anything about now, I'd just like to know, for my own attempts to work through everything that happened. Until now I told myself nothing illegal had happened perse
