Heaven's not a place that you go when you die
It's that moment in life when you actually feel alive
So live for the moment
hi there.
I was exactly the same before my first appointment to see my psych, but I worked myself up for nothing - it was nothing big. We just introduced ourselves a bit and ran through the issues which I'd already explained to me CPN. He then explained the medication he thought I should be on and how things are going to work (appointments with him/my CPN/my GP etc). He also explained a lot about the different treatments which we'd look at a bit further down the line and explained why he thought medication was the way to go at first with me. They really are all there to help you and aren't half as scary as they first seem.
Don't worry yourself about it, it'll be fine, I'm sure.
Please let us know how you get on.
