I want to get a tattoo because of my battle with do. I know I want a butterfly flying away from a dead vine. Thinking the butterfly to be orange (color of the ribbon) and I want to put a saying like #"love ypurself". Anyone have any other quotes that might be good or to put in the tattoo. I did do for 3-4 yrs, and haven't in 3 yrs but I battle relapse almost every day. Please help. Thank you
I like the idea but I really think it should be something you think of, not people on a website, seeing as it's going to be on your body for the rest of your life.
Im not always creative and needing ideas, I'll make the final decision. My brother will be doing the tattoo, and he doesn't know about it. I don't feel ready to come out about it, so hard to ask him to do the drawing.

i love the idea about the orange ribbon as the body. as for the saying, i know having a lot of saying might help you create one you really like sooooo, love yourself, be true to yourself, be yourself, trust yourself, accept yourself, accepting yourself, you must love yourself before you can love someone else, cant really think of more. It's sort of a remember for me, plus I love all the lyrics of that songs. Just need to build up for going for it. Maybe look at recovery songs, they might indicate some lyrics/quote you like.

I designed mine myself. But something to consider is placement. Where it is going will depend upon the size. Writing has to be a certain size to make it legible. I wanted a date putting on mine, but had to leave it out, as it would have had to be twice the size that it is. Also, be prepared, that if it is in a visible place, you will get asked about it, especially at things such as job interviews. One of my orginal aims was to have a latin phrase/quote on mine. That way, I had control over what I told people.
Thank you every one for the ideas. It's been a while since been on because of my health. I still haven't gotten it, because I'm waiting on my brother. Once I do get I'll post pics. My plan is to either put it on my leg or shoulder since I wear jeans and shirts that would cover it almost all the time.
