anyone good with computers?

I can't seem to to able to stream videos on my laptop without it taking AGES. (i'm watching a tv series online and it literally takes well over an hour for each video to completely load - even on megavideo and videobb)
Just been on youtube too, and cant watch videos on there properly either.
It's really bugging me as i watch stuff on my laptop all the time and its on the past two/three days that it hasnt been working - usually i can watch them almost instantly and they continue to load as they play but it's just not happening anymore!

do you use the same internet connection to stream on a regular basis? Unless you have unlimited download usage you could have reached your limit/nearly reached your limit which you significantly slow streaming down.

Did you reset the router (unplug it for a minute and plu back in) and do malware scans?

How do you know if you've reached your limit?

The company you get internet off will have set a limit (or fair use policy) and how you find out will depend upon the company. Mine is set up to text me when I get to 90%
