Cognitive therapy?

Has anyone tried cognitive therapy as a way to deal with depressing/anxiety/etc?
Was it helpful?
I was thinking of giving it a go...but I wanted to see if anyone had tried it or had any advice!

go for it! i've done cognitive behavioral therapy, but it was more the cognitive part for depression and peices of anxiety, and then behavioral for the actions that went along with my ocd. it worked really well.

The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.

hmmm not exactly...... in my experience mindfullness is often more linked to DBT?.... i did that, and also alot with cognitive distortions, like seeing the ways your thoughts are inaccurate and making you feel worse, and then working on making them more realistic so that you feel better
