Slipped Up...
I slipped up again. I can't seem to do this on my own.
At this point I only have three choices.
A)Try to recover again, and stop again. (It's failed so far)
B)Go to the local hospitals Behavioral Health Center for impatient treatment.
C)Continue to suffer, and go through this.
I know I'm not alone, but it feels that way.
I want to get help, but I don't want to tell my mom that I never stopped when I promised her almost a year ago that I would stop. D=
I just..I'm not sure what to do.

I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin' you, holdin' you, holdin' you tonight."

Take a break from recovery... like a week or so. You'll get it all out of your system and start fresh.
That's what I did. I slipped up last week after 52 days free, and I feel good now. I'm going to give recovery another try.

Recovery is an interesting thing. Its kinda like a building. You can't build the walls before you build the foundation. From the little i can see you trying to build your house before you laid down your foundation. There are some things you just need to work through before recovery works. I posted this list before but i think its very true.
- Why do you SI? This is very important too many people try to stop with out understanding this. If the root issues of your SI haven't be addressed then you are very very unlikely to go any where with recovery.
- What sets you off? (triggers you)
- How can you avoid your triggers?
- How can you effectively cope with being triggered? (What forms of distraction work for you)
- Why are you recovering?
- How is recovery better for you then SI?
- How can you keep yourself motivated while recovering? (what incentives are you going to use during recovery)
Take things one step of at a time. Its not a race. There is no prize for recovering the fastest.

Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"
