Free?
I became 1 year free from SH a few months ago, and since then I've started wearing shorts again (I used to refrain from this since my scars are on my legs), but although I wear clear tights with the shorts, I don't even think about them anymore. I'm also more confident wearing tighter clothes and i'm not always trying to cover myself up any more.
Since I was I became I year free, I haven't had any urges. At all.
I still keep my blades in a little box just as a reminder for myself that I can get through things but I don't plan to use them ever again. (Although I did use them to open a parcel the other day cuz I couldn't find any scissors anywhere! lol).
But, I think I can say I'm finally Free after 6 years.
Even though I am free, I plan to stick around here to help support others and generally just help about and stuff. I have made some fantastic friends on here and I intended to keep forever (some becoming 'real life friends') who I love.
But something else I wanted to say was - I don't think I would be here if it wasn't here for RYL - So I want to say a big thank you to YOU. Seriously, your all fantastic, and you can beat this.
