i was reading through my care plan today and it mentioned that i had a thought disorder. Ive been getting contrasting information of the net. Was just wondering if anyone who has experienced it would share? Im not exactly sure what it is but i cant remember much from when i was quite unwell.

sticks and stones may break your bones but words can tear your heart out.

Sorry, I can't help you there... It's a shame you've been reading contrasting information though.
Have you tried reliable websites, like the one for psychiatric doctors or written by them or something... Or Wikipedia?

Hehe, I love the way that 'reliable' and 'Wikipedia' are in the same sentence there :p

Unfortunately I have no idea what a thought disorder means. Can you give us some examples perhaps?

There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

I get two words mixed into one, like the other day I said "adgity" as in "aggitated" and "fidgety" :S I do it quite a lot and it's in my notes too, x

You've already won me over in spite of me
And don't be alarmed if I fall head over feet
Don't be surprised if I love you for all that you are
I couldn't help it

http://www.doctorslounge.com/psychia...t_disorder.htm - might explain.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
