EIIP - How long? Discharge.

I have been with the early intervenion team for over 4 years and they have decided that its time for my to be discharged. y nurse said I have alreay been with tem for a long time and asthe ame suggests it is for early intevention in psychosis.

Ive grown to really trust my nurse nd a abit worried about starting with someone new who i dont know........... I dot trust people easily.

Just out of curiosty Im wondering how long other people have been with EIIP?

And who did you see after discharge from EIIP? nurse? OT? Social worker?

i thought there was a "psychosis team" who dealt with people after EIP?

I've also heard they keep people on upto 3 years after they are first refarred to.

Ive just been referred to them and I was told I would see them for 3 years but Im not sure if that is just the standard time the maximum or the minimum?

Thanks guys........ and if 3 years is like the average i guess my time is up! Ill let you know what happens for other people who are being/getting ready to transfer =)
