Theres a thread in this forum for BPD and from what i can tell most of us SH in one way or another, its apparently a 'key' diagnostic criteria

I have BPD, and I used to self harm. I am currently in recovery and have been free for a year.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.

I have BPD, and I haven't self-harmed for a while... but used to self-harm quite a lot.

I have BPD and self harm quite a lot, its quite common, especially considering its on the diagnostic criteria!
