Expanding your qualifications

If you are going for a job interview for a job you really want and it says you need a degree in English and you have it.
Always make sure you expand on your degree, don't just say you have 2:1 in English from XYZ, expand on the points and use the job specification to help you.
Explain how punctual you are
Explain you stick to deadlines
Be knowledgeable on your subject refer to points.
show enthusiasm for your job

The same goes if you have a job in retail and you want to go into teaching with teaching degree, explain how your job in retail has made you listen to people, accept criticism, put customers first, take into consideration of customer needs.

Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. I tried groups, didn't work out just made my depression a lot worse.

Basically a lot of people I know don't mention anything about their degree or qualifications, they say they got a degree or alevels but don't apply it to the job they are after as result they dont get the job. So I am just passing on useful information
