Well done, i'm so proud of you for getting through it! I'm so glad your'e youth worker was able to go with you, that's fantastic support.
Give the Citalopram a go, it usually takes a few weeks to kick in, but you should start feeling better.
When are you getting your first councelling session?
Are you feeling a little bit better now? x

It is a huge step forward and as poppet6 said well done! Starting treatment is scary, I felt the very same way and it can be tough at times but it is important you get the help you need and deserve. Meds do take a while to settle in your system but hopefully it will help. Hope your feeling a little better.

Who did they send the referrral off too?
Did they not offer you any mood stabilisers? It sounds like they may help if you suffer frequent mood swings.

Do you know if your youth worker took any notes - It may be worth checking what their recollection of the appointment is.
Well done on going - I know how hard appointments can be, and so it is a huge step to have got through it. It sounds like you have a tremendous support in the youth worker.
