Voices

How do you talk about voices to people? I am glad I know my voices aren't 'real' took me many years to realise, but I like having them, I don't think it is strange. But they have become evil recently, I have lost control over them - not that I control them but before I could bargin with them, talk to them about why I should do things, now they demand, laugh, shout.

How do I talk about them to someone? I don't think I will, but how? I tried to, and failed.

i hhate who I am. And every one wants me dead. THey want me dead....

I'm so confused

a trail of red weaved deep,
caused by pain from within

Hi there,
I can really understand how much of a difficult subject it is to bring up in conversation, whether that be with a therapist, a Psychiatrist, a friend or a parent. It's difficult to talk about full stop right?
It's definitely a good thing that you realise and understand your voices aren't real. A real positive step for you would be to talk to someone you can trust, prefably an adult. Someone who can offer you some kind of support/help. I would say your DR would be the best place to start if you do not have a therapist/psychiatrist. You ask 'how do i talk about them to someone'. Like I said before, it's a hard thing to bring up isn't it? For many reasons I guess. Maybe you would find it helpful to write what is happening down, and explain to the DR that you find it difficult to talk about it and so have written it down for them to read instead? They will get you referred then. Or maybe print off this post you have written and show a DR or even a trusted adult it? What do you think?

Always remember that's the voices you are hearing do NOT have any power or control over you, you have the power. Keep telling yourself that. I understand it's not as easy as simply ignoring the voices, but keep assuring yourself that you are in control and have the ultimate power. None of us certainly want you dead - what's made you feel like everyone else wants you dead?
Hearing voices is a really confusing and also frightening time, particularly if the voices are evil. That's why i'm thinking if you feel able to it would be so helpful for you to be able to get professional help and support.

Take care of yourself, and keep posting if you feel it helps
