Arrrgggghhh

I just spent well over half an hour typing out a long post asking if there was anything actually wrong with me detailing loads of things that bother me about myself, just seems wrong with myself or what other people have mentioned about myself.

Then I come to post it and it seems to have logged me out and I lost my post.

I just feel upset/annoyed. I don't know. This was the first time I wated to talk about how I was feeling and it felt good to list everything that seems wrong with myself. But it is all so frustrating now it's gone. I don't have the nergy tonight to type it all out again now. It's just made me feel so miserable now

Do you think you're up to trying again?

I have had that happen to me here and with a long email once...it is really frustrating and upsetting.

I hope that you try again because we would love to be here for you and offer support or answer any questions that are important to you.

Maybe it will just take you some time?

*hugs*

Here Supporting You,

A solution

HI Cheeseypie

This is very frustrating for anyone,

To stop this from happening again, type your thoughts in a word document like Notepad or Wordpad, you will find it under accessories

Doing it this way allows you to compose your thoughts and get them right

Don't forget to save them, then when you want to post on RYL, you can copy and paste into the message

Open the notepad document, highlight all the words, do Ctrl C to copy, then click in the message box on RYL and do Crtl V for paste

It will take a second, check it looks Ok using Preview Post, edit it if you want to then submit reply, that should stop your frustration

Don't forget to bin the notepad document and empty the recycle bin if you do not want anyone to ever see it

I suggest you have a try with some test words

I hope this helps

Luv Lee

Similar has happened to me at previous times and it was horrible so my thoughts go out to you.i know it can take a lot of time and more so energy to post sometimes and write everything out.i hope you can try again sometime but understand why it felt like too much to do again right now. That is more than understandable. Also i know you hadnt managed to post it in the end but can you see the positive in that you had written everything down, you had wanted to write and you had wanted to share with us?i know its probably not much comfort right now but please remember that wanting to do those things and having got so far is a big step in itsself. Please dont let this deter you from trying again. And i really hope you can get it to post next time.We are here for you and want to help.im sorry that this happened to you and hope that you are ok.

i do not always manage to be around but i wish you all the very best - love and luck to you all!

Thanks for your replies.

I do agree it did help to even think about these things, never mind write them down. And though I didn't get to share them, it was good to think about everything clearly.

I felt a bit stupid over it too, given that I spend a huge amount of time in both my working life and personal life writing things on the interent, so knew of the dangers of writing long things directly in to forums etc. I guess I just got too carried away with writing it to thing :)

I've felt fine since I wrote it, but next time I feel like I'm dwelling on everything again I may come back to write about it again if I feel that will help me :)

Thanks again :)
