*hugs you*
For me, when I self injure, it is because of how i'm feeling. For me, it is usually frustration or helplessness. I know that other people have different reasons too.

Please, keep talking to us?

i just fel like i have lost my way.... completely.
but thought i was heading back on track.

i'm sure you are heading back on track if you've managed so long cut-free.
we ALL have slip ups no matter how strong we are. sometimes urges get too strong for no particular reason, sometimes we just get too tired of resisting. it doesn't mean you are back to square one, just that you had a slight bump in the road.
get the cut seen to if it needs it and try not to be too harsh on yourself about this. maybe tell your boyfriend so he can be extra nice to you for a while :)

Don't panic, you haven't screwed everything up. I think you should tell your boyfriend and talk about things with him.

I agree with everyone else. Even the strongest of us have slip-ups, you haven't messed things up. You've just had a 'blip'. Talk to your boyfriend if you can, a caring ear can really help.
