We love you here Matthew!! You do so much good for Vets, you make us giggle, you keep us amused on the general forums, you support us when we need it and you've just helped us to get a cool new 'thing' in vets. The plumeria getting lei'd is just fantastic!

I think you have something decent to say. Please don't go. I think since the Plumeria symbol thing was your idea then you do deserve to do it (and lei all the vets) but if you don't want to then obviously that is your choice and everyone will respect that. Vets wouldn't be the same without constant sexual innyourendos from members and your one of the best! xx

i know what its like to need a lurk every now and again... as long as the occasional lurk doesnt become an every day habit... where lurking becomes an obsessive fixture in your life to the detriment of your friends and family...

if you feel your lurking is becoming a serious problem then you should consider the 12 step lurking program...

Here are the 12 steps of Lurkers Anonymous

Step 1 : We admitted we were powerless over lurking - that our lives had become unmanageable.

Step 2 : Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to non-lurking status.

Step 3 : Made a decision to turn our mouse and our keyboard over to the care of God as we understood Him.

Step 4 : Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of lurking habits.

Step 5 : Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our lurking.

Step 6 : Were entirely ready to have God remove all these lurking instincts.

Step 11 : Sought through communal prayer and meditation to improve our lack of lurking and conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry out communication.

Step 12 : Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other lurkers and to practice these principles in all our online affairs.

I just want to say that I am in no way poking fun at AA... I hope noone who has any affiliation with AA is offended in any way...

No worries. I've been sober in AA for 13 years. I once made the 12 steps of housework, starting that we are powerless over other people and their habits!
