Omega 3 and BPD
I've heard of Omega 3 (supplement) being used to help with BPD in the past but don't know anyone who's tried it.
I'm quite keen to give it a go, especially if it's a natural way to help. Having done a search I can't see any interactions with my current med. Would I be advised to speak to a GP or pass a message on to my psychiatrist before proceeding or do people think it would be okay to just go ahead with it? Has anyone else tried using Omega 3? |
Sorry you didn't get any responses to this. I haven't tried it since I've been diagnosed with BPD, though I was part of a trial of omega 3 when I was doing my GCSEs that was carried out so unscientifically it was featured in Ben Goldacre's Bad Science I believe (though that was just the people carry out the trial, no criticism of the omega 3 itself!)
I would probably double check with a pharmacist next time you pick up your regular meds? Let us know how you get on with it! |
