A Saturday Night Story - Now we are Six.

A small girl went into the sitting room at home where her father was reading the paper.
"Daddy, where does poo come from?" she asked.
Father, feeling a bit perturbed that his five-year-old daughter was already asking difficult questions, thought for a moment and said:
"Well, you know when we just ate breakfast?"
"Yes," replied the girl.
"Well, the food goes into our tummies and our bodies take all the good stuff out, and then whatever's left over comes out of our bottoms when we go to the loo. That's poo."
The small girl looked perplexed and sat in stunned silence for a while. Then she asked "And Tigger?"

tony you have utterly disappointed me with the lack of gorillaness in this story. mand x

Harley's Dad 21-10-2007 11:07 PM

Mandi, the gorilla remains strictly in reserve. But for the moment:

The gorilla is a giant ape
Whose chest and things will make you gape ...
Some bits require a two foot tape -
Or p'raps this thread is just a jape?

Dare I ask what Things and Bits you are referring to or should i skip the explanation and go straight to the shuddering?

The male gorilla's "bits" are disproportionately small for the gorilla's size. Humans are bigger.

story= amusing
poem= hmmmm...

PropheticStar 22-10-2007 01:28 PM

Thanks for that Animal Planet style update Aidey...

Harley's Dad 22-10-2007 01:51 PM

Challenge, Aidey - how do you know (I'm sure you don't spend hours studying the subject)? Wait till we get onto elephants!

And, Salanna, that wasn't intended as poetry - it was cheapo doggerel, just intended to amuse ...

Tony (in anthropoid mode).
