this is just some good news i guess....
I think I've finally worked out why I havent managed to be able to sleep recently, and I've finally worked it out!!
I got in a sleeping bag last night and had my dovet over the top of it, made me feel more secure and safer than just my dovet because that always falls off. I also moved my night light closer to the floor and closer to me so that I can see it and the disney princesses on the side of it so if I wake up I know Im safe [it reminds me off my daddy who brought it for me because I was really wanting / needing one] I put also, my story tape on, I hadd to change it because it was scaring the living heck out of me. I also managed to fall asleep before 4am last night so quite impressed |
Well done for figuring everything out and finding ways to make you feel safe, and help you sleep! I hope this continues to help and you manage to keep sleeping!

thank you all of you, I've still been sleeping at like 3am but its better than 4am I guess, so, that's better and the whole sleeping bag idea is working along with a hot water bottle [that is just for now as i seem to be freezing all the time - ED related stuff that i cant post because i am too scared]
I had my first night without a night light, its only half a night because I thought about it, I thought, if I can do one half of the night without a night light for a week then the next week i'll try it for a quater of the week and so on untill I can get down to no night light at all. Again though, I think I may have to change the story tape as it is still scaring me and I cant find any little kids ones, like, cinderella or anything that'd maybe help me fall asleep quicker - suggestions welcome for this. xxxx |
