Help!

I have a crush on this guy and I have no idea what to do. I haven't dated since I was a teenager and have only had one serious relationship. I haven't even spoken to a male in *that* way for 3 years.

I have no idea how to even try to start things with this person! I don't know him socially, ie. he's not a friend of a friend or anything so opportunities to meet "casually" are non-existent.

Arghhh what do I do?? I feel like a teenager!

How do you know him? Maybe getting to know him socially could be the first step.

He works in a shop. Lol. Kind of hopeless.

I don't even know how old he is or anything! He might be younger than me (not that that really matters) or, horror of horrors, have a girlfriend, or be gay. That happens to me a lot. My last love interest spent all his time agonising to me about how to come out to his parents. Tragic.

Send him an xmas card saying you couldn't wait til valentine's, sign it as a secret admirer.... then go shopping lots! If he comes up and says he's taken or gay just pretend you didn't sen d it

I don't go in a hell of a lot, just a few times lately, it's a bit of a faff to get to but I could I suppose. But what would I say?? I can't just start buying loads of stuff lol. Arghh I feel so angsty. Woe is me!

I say just go up to him and ask he if wants to grab coffee after work.

If he says no, just don't shop there anymore.

It's a camera shop.

Camera shop's better than a supermarket or sth. You've got the perfect conversation topic starter. Go in and ask him something about cameras - advice about lenses or something (I know nothing about cameras.)

Arghh I don't know! Maybe next year.... I can't really face the shops at the mo with all the Xmas crowds.
