The down side of it is all the change that is coming. I woke up at 6.15 this morning, stressing. Bleh! At least I'm at work this afternoon, and we can all gossip about who's where and what's what! Though we don't know our actual new locations yet, just the general area.

My Mum nearly cried with happiness and relief when I phoned my parents yesterday evening. Dad's still rather shell shocked about his diagnosis and upcoming operation to have said anything much.

I was texting literally nearly everyone yesterday, telling them!

Change can be good. I know it's not nice to have uncertainties and from what I understand there are parts that you can't talk about to us which may be influencing the way you feel about the situation but we don't know about so can't help you (if that makes any sense). I guess I'm just trying to reassure you as much as possible.

Yes, that makes sense. I'm not so sure there are any huge secrets right now. Though I'm sort of cautious because of the high media profile my department has at the moment due to the whole budget cutting situation and public opinion.

Katie, you already know from my text that I think this is wonderful news, indeed. I know you are much stronger than you think, and you have made it through all the stress so far. I know change is always hard, but you can make it through it.
