Happiness/Positivity

I didn't know where best to put this, but I just need loads of you to tell me all your happy/funny/positive/nice things about whatever you like. Having a severe loss of the light in the darkness moment.

So everyone please start talking and laughing and being happy :hop:

Well, you all fail at being happy.

No wonder you're on RYL :p

I'll start..............

Funny story..........

Bought a tin of chocolates and left them on the sofa, went upstairs to get dressed. Came down to find bunny rabbit in the tin eating chocolates!!! Assorted chocs thrown around, must have been ones he didnt like!!
Looked very cute!

I have one, although its more "You've Been Framed" moments.

I use to love skateboarding. My mum decided one day that she wanted to go out on my skateboard, and told me to gather all my friends from the park so they could watch how "cool" she was. She has been practising skateboarding in the communal passage were we lived, and i had decided that she was competent enough to carry it off to do it in public.

On this particular day, she decided to wear a skirt. What we had not taken into consideration was that the communal passage was level, and the street we live on was on a slope. She proceeded to kick off from our front gate and got half way down the street. Then lost her balance because she wasn't use to the speed of going down the slope, fell off the skateboard with her legs and skirt up in the air, and all my friends saw her granny pants!!!!!!! They were great big frilly bloomers.

My friends took the micky outta me for months and months afterwards and nicked named my mum "granny pants".

I have a funny story.

Someone I know went for a walk and went all the way through a big busy shop before someone pointed out that her skirt was tucked in her knickers.:pinch::laugh: When she told me, rather than being sympathetic and supportive, I laughed and told people. I'm scared karma is going to bite me in the bum, so I am now constantly checking my skirt.

I love that stalking cat video! It's fab.

I'm always worried about the skirt tucked into knickers thing (or having loo roll attached to my shoe).

Seems you are not all so full of woe after all :p

Continue!

Hehe I didn't think of that!

Busby, your mum's skateboarding story made me laugh so much! Actually it reminds me of when I was getting on a bus and it was so windy that as I got on and was paying my fair my skirt blew right up, exposing my, erm, pants to the driver. As soon as I get on public transport I seem to lose all ability to act like a normal human being. One time on a train I decided to go into a different carrage, but the doors got stuck and I was trapped between carrages. I banged on the doors frantically, terrified I would fall onto the track, only to be let in by a guy (a rather handsome one) and have the whole train look at me in disgust.:pinch:

Aww cute ducky! Loving all the stories.

I handed my essay in 9 hours before the deadline. Best thing that's happened to me all week lol.

Busby 09-09-2011 07:10 AM

Well done for getting your essay in early!

When i was at secondary school, my reason for never getting my work in on time ( in those days it was handwritten) was because my cat urinated on it. None of the teachers believed me. So one day I took my essay in, soiled, and handed it in regardless because I didn't have time to re write it. Little did I know that my cat was in my school bag (she has a fetish about bags and trolleys, I've lost count at the amount of times I have discovered her at the bottom of the trolley in tescos as I was packing shopping) and promptly jumped out and urinated on the teacher!!!! I swear its a true story!!!!!!!! I got sent home ( with cat) and never got above a C in that class again!
