I like "yerk" :P
|
I knew just one - "Mullion". But, realistically, how many of those words does one need to know to conduct a coherent and intelligent conversation in 2010?
Chuck just a couple of them into a sentence in a chat with friends and they'll look at you as though you're barmy - or pretentious! Tony (only two syllables). |

Yerd <3
I like wamfle and sesamoid too. Those are really nice words. I already new Glabella, though. I think it was on QI once. Haha. |
I knew the word Girn but the rest are new to me.
Also I don't know anyone who uses those words. |
I actually know quite a few of these.

I knew 3!
And with glossolalia I'm sure I've heard it used when referring to the speaking in "tongues" that some of the more unusual branches of christianity do. |

I should have known at least one. I'm ashamed.
|
I didn't know any of them
|
I knew none of them, but as English is only my second language it's not too surprising.
But I have to say, my favorite relatively unknown word in English is "defenestrate" :-D |
