Same, I was disappointed in myself :tongue2:

I like "yerk" :P

Harley's Dad 26-02-2010 01:15 AM

I knew just one - "Mullion". But, realistically, how many of those words does one need to know to conduct a coherent and intelligent conversation in 2010?

Chuck just a couple of them into a sentence in a chat with friends and they'll look at you as though you're barmy - or pretentious!

Tony (only two syllables).

Little miss smarty pants:tongue2:

Heidi Tiger 26-02-2010 11:43 AM

I knew 3!
And with glossolalia I'm sure I've heard it used when referring to the speaking in "tongues" that some of the more unusual branches of christianity do.

I should have known at least one. I'm ashamed.

crazykat 26-02-2010 02:27 PM

I didn't know any of them

Canis 26-02-2010 04:04 PM

I knew none of them, but as English is only my second language it's not too surprising.
But I have to say, my favorite relatively unknown word in English is "defenestrate" :-D
