Struggling to support my hubbie

I am hoping that someone out there has got some wise words.

As I mentioned in my intro my husband is recovering from a problem with alcohol. He has been signed off work until December and has just recently handed in his notice so basically he is not going back to his job. I am trying to support him but am finding that really difficult whilst I feel so rubbish. I was also drinking every night, matching him for alcohol consumption on many nights, and was harming as well but I have had no help. Whilst he has been off work getting support and therapy I have had to give up alcohol whilst supporting him, dealing with my problems, carrying on in a job I don't enjoy and pretending that is nothing wrong. I am not sure how much longer I can do this but I have to keep going.

So any wise words on how I make sure I don't go under?

i think the best thing to do would ask for support for you also
explain to the doctor what you have told us and tell them that you would benefit from some help

you dont need to do this alone
you deserve help as much as your husband does x
