Where are my bracelets?
Hi, I ordered a Trying to Stop bracelet and a month free bracelet on the 7th August and got an email saying they were delayed because of lack of beads.
But I still dont have them. Is anyone else having this problem? x |

Harley was able to get the bead situation sorted out, however, he's had some other issues come up which has caused a delay in shop orders. It's hoped that he will be able to take care of them soon.

But all i have heard is "soon" and nothing has changed.

If I know Harley, and I do, then he will feel awful that he hasn't been able to send them out & it will be due to circumstances beyond his control. These things happen, I'm afraid [although this is the first time since I've been a member that there's been a more than 2 week unexpected delay].
If there's anything I can do give me a PM, but until I get a firm okay from Harley and sort out expenses etc I can't send stuff. x |

The bracelets are all still coming. They got the bead issues sorted out, and they Harley was called away. He's working on catching up and the bracelets are one of his top priorities to get taken care of.

I don't have any bracelets on order at the moment but as soon as an update becomes available can we have one please?
I want to order more bracelets incase mine break, I wear them all the time but I want to wait until things are back to normal again. Course, I understand Harley has a life outside of RYL Sarah x |

I've waited so long for my second (one month) bracelet that my 'trying to stop' one snapped from overuse lol. I was a little impatient at first but as the second bracelet is free and there are clearly technical, as well as other hitches, I don't feel right complaining. I hope Harley doesn't feel under pressure, I think people are only worried because they don't know whats going on.

How have you managed to snap your bracelets? Where they the new ones? I've had mine 3 years and wear it daily and it's still in one piece :)

Hiya, I just took mine off to have a bath, the elastic snapped and the beads flew everywhere. I had had it about a month and wore it throughout the day but took it off before bed. Maybe its a combo of taking it off a lot and having unsusually big hands or summat lol, I dunno

i wore mine every day for just over a month, never playd ith it or anything,
and one night it just snapped and beads went flying all over my students union!!! was v upset |
That's odd. Were they the newer ones? I take mine off at night and during the day some times to play with it! I've also had it pulled on by a baby numerous times (which I don't like as I'm paranoid she's going to break it)!! I can see why your both upset with it breaking after a month :(

^ I have snapped so many of my bracelets, i just snapped one this weekend but i'm in the process of fixing it. I want to order a new one because i'm almost a year free but all this kafuffle is worrying me! x x x

i order my 1 and 3 months free a while ago. the delay in gettign them out is actually helping me stay SH free, because i want to actually be able to wear them, and if i SH it will just be a waste of money!

Don't say that, that'll make him wait longer. So yes, err.. the longer I have to wait the more I will.. oh I can't do it, that's just stupid.
But really, now is a painfully long time to not have heard anyhitng from Harley, even though he has a habit of saying "Yeah next week" when in actual fact it'll be months from then. Blah anyway, I think people are getting annoyed at being kept in the dark, and while that usually is the case here people have spent money on something they were meant to recieve weeks or months ago. And I know you have your little prepared sentence to post but it means nothing unless it's from Harley, we have given him our money and although I KNOW he's going to send everyhting out eventually, this is money we're talking about and right now we all need it. So to have spent it then not get what we paid for within a decent amount of time is pretty annoying. And not to mention a bit disrespectful of Harley not to post here himself. (And yes, I know he is a busy man, but one minute to reassure people and maybe explain exactly what's happening with OUR things is not an unreasonable request) Basically, what I'm trying to say (In the nicest way possible) is that I would never in a million years take this from a shop or ebay, no matter how little I may have spent, I'd be on the phone, emailing whatever to get answers. As a customer I am, to be honest, pretty frakking irritated, however as a long term member of this forum, who has got to know people and this place as a whole I am biting my tongue becuase I know full well he has a good reason but now, after waiting just over 2 months (Bought mine on 7th August) I have to properly say something. And I know certain people will think I'm being unreasonable (Even though I'm not), selfish (Even though I'm not), and rude (Even though I'm not) I don't care. We all deserve to be told something, we paid for our goods, we just want them asap. |
I know no one will listen and that reply will achieve nothing but I guess I had to get it off my chest.

I just want to point out that there was an issue with the beads from the bracelets and that was posted about at the time. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that the beads got sorted out.
Also, we have really been trying to keep people updated, and I'm sorry that our replies haven't satisfied you but we have to respect Harley's privacy. Harley has had to direct his attention elsewhere for a while, but getting the bracelets out are his number one priority for RYL right now. |

So you will keep on posting that little set out sentence (Which by now has no meaning it's been said so many times) and we shall continue to bend over, angrily, because there's nothing we can do but complain on this thread where no one is paying any attention or taking on board what we're really saying. I know some people think I'm a cow for complaining but I think we have a right to, we've all been waiting frakking ages. And don't reply with that sentence, we KNOW already! I may just have to headbutt the wall several hundred times if I have to read it again. And I know there's nothing you can do but for god sake, can't we get it all off our chest and complain especially when pretty much have a right to seen as there's **** all else to do because Harley's the top guy and he's the one that's gone AWOL. |

I'm not fussed about having to wait for my bracelet as I know that Harley's a busy man and already gives plenty of his own time for our benefit. I'm more concerned about the fact that I've paid for a bracelet, but at no point was asked for a name and address for it to be delievered to :S

Just wanted to let you know that I heard from Harley the other day, and he told me that he's really not doing that well at all and has had to take some time off from RYL to get himself back into a good head-space. I'm really sorry that you have all been kept waiting for these shop orders ..... but if I do know one thing, its that people WILL get their bracelets ..... but it just may be a bit of a wait, and on behalf of Harley, he is very sorry about that. Apart from that, there isnt anything else we can do about this except wait for Harley to sort things out in his own personal life, until he is ready to face things at RYL again ..... so I understand the frustration - believe me I do! you arent the only ones waiting on Harley for some things to get sorted - but on behalf of Harley, I'm just asking if you could all cut him some slack here please. thank you. |
Thanks for letting us know... I think people just wanted a legitimate reason as to why there were troubles with the bracelets. Obviously it's not some crazy scamming thing and I think most of us here can appreciate that sometimes other problems come in the way of us being able to do what we'd like to do. I don't mind waiting, after all, Harley does a great job... without him none of us would be on this site in the first place :)

I received an explanatory email from Harley yesterday, and my bracelet (and free gift!) arrived today. Thank you Harley, I hope you are coping ok, and that things start to improve for you.

Ive been waiting nearly 3 months for mine and really i would just maybe rather have a refund than wait for something that may never arrive.

Well if people are receiving them then it's probably on it's way.
If you want Harley to give you the money back I would contact him soon and directly as there is always a struggle to have enough money to keep RYL alive, so get in contact quick before he spends it... even in his mind. Chloe x |
Bracelets are definatly being sent out now.
However, I have a few that Harley doesn't have, and he has to wait for me to post them back to him, which will be tomorrow. So he will have them by Thursday, so I can't see him sending them out any later than Saturday. I'm really sorry, as this is completely my fault, as I didn't realise he needed them back :| |
I think asking for a refund would take just as long as i have been waiting, so i may as well wait for the braclet.

Whatever you deem suitable for you...it seems that RYL will struggle to please you either way on this matter.

tbh im sick of being passed judgment because im annoyed with waiting so long, and if harleys not around then there would be more waiting time to get a refund.
