If you are having problems with a member of staff at hospital, it is important you speak to another member of staff about how you are feeling. No matter what the reason is that you feel uncomfortable or have an issue with a staff member, voicing your concerns is the best way to get a response.
If there is another staff member you trust, try talking to them about it and see if they can help you with the issue. If that is unsuccessful, continue to try other staff members. It might be worth discussing the matter with your parents/guardians as well, and therefore if your complaints are not being heard, they can then express their concerns for you.
In the event that there is nothing you can do about said staff member, there are two options. Ideally, you could learn to cope and deal with the issues you are facing and perhaps talk to the staff member about how you feel, or you could lodge an official complaint.
Lodging a complaint is not a simple procedure but it can be done, if the circumstances warrant it. Your hospital should be able to provide you with a form to fill out, of which you will need to be specific of the issues surrounding you and the staff member. This will then be taken to a higher staff member and will hopefully be dealt with through the hospital system.
However, try and deal with all matters of staff by communicating to other staff around you, and make sure your opinions and needs are being heard and met.
