Olanzapine
Does anyone else find that this medication makes you forgetful?
Because I am lossing track of things and days and even when I see my therapist shes like "dont you remember this or that"
I lost a whole day the other day.

Olanzapine and other antipsychotics are notorious for making you more sedated and therefore more forgettful. When I was on an antiP I carried a note around with me. I'd write anything down I would need to remember or thought was meaningful.

I want to kiss the bottom of the ocean before I burst through its surface into the sunlight, otherwise I will always be wondering about what was left unseen at the bottom
i'm tired of chasing my dreams.
i'm just gonna ask where they're going,
and hook up with them later.

Jodie's right, it's because they make you so sedated. It's frustrating, but it's normal for that medication so it's not something to worry about. If it's really bothering you though, talk to your psychiatrist about it.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.

There could be other reasons why you are forgetful, has it only been happening since you started taking the medication? Maybe it would help to write down important things and write in a diary at the end of every day to see if you can jog your memory. Take care.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

I used to take Olanzapine & my short term memory became quite aweful. I would ask someone a question then ask them the same question quite literally 10 minutes later because not only did I forget the answer, I forgot that I even asked them.
However for me, this wore off.

I'm on olanzapine and I've become more forgetful, I'll tell someone something three times because I can't remember telling them, I forget what I'm doing then go do something else, and my concentration isn't great it's a bit annoying x
