Guys i need help

So new semester new classes right? Now I have to take health and we have a unit about ED's SI and Suiside coming up next week and I am so afraid. I've been doing really good lately and hardly even thing about all that but once i'm forced to focus on it at school i'm afraid I'll break down. Skippings out of the question because we'll be working on it for a month and I can't afford to miss that much, talkign to the teacher is too because I am not safe enough for that.

I just want to know what I can do so that I don't break down in class. I need some help please.

sorry - i dont have any advice, but i do know where you;re coming from. We're on to the clinical health aspect of psychology this semester, and we've had stuff like this before. normally, we've been told that if anything gets too much we're allowed to leave the classroom for a break or something. do you know if you;re allowed to do that?

It's easier said that done but if you can, try to take the class as impersonal as possible. For example, focus on the facts, not what they mean...and if it gets too much then think of something entirely different and try to shut it out. I mean, even if you don't pay attention as well as you should be, in my opinion it's better than being triggered and breaking down.

Can you talk to the school counsellor? Maybe they will have some better ideas.
