Making the child/teen feel responsible for the mother's feelings. (evertime my mum storms out or gets angry i feel like its my fault)
Threatening them in general (shes said she wishes i was dead and if she could strangle me she would and she wants me to levae when im 16.)
Using force upon them. (she hits me sumtyms and drags my arm)
Refusing to apologize (she has never in her life ONCE apolgises to me. When i was little i used to buy her cards and presents saying i was sorry for arguing with her shed never say sorry though)
Always needing to have the last word. (she always says "have to have the last word all the time to me" which mean she usally ends up having the last word")
Judging or rejecting their friends (she has hated all my mates. Amy she hated because we used to row alot. She hated Abbie because she wasnt "normal" she hated laura because hse was a blonde bimbo and has never even met her. She hates amie and charl because they smoke.)
Invading their privacy (she has read every single diary i have ever kept ans sumtyms goes through me bag and looks at me laptop)
Failing to show trust in them (ive askd her wether she trusts me and she dosent. Because hse takes me laptop of me at nine oclock every night matbe 10 but it ALWAYS gets taken outta me room. Ive got to be in by half 8 bearing in mynd i am 15 and in year 11)
Giving them the silent treatment. (shes gives me that for weeks and weeks on end)
Failing to give them real explanations ("why cant i go out mum" "because i said!" usally the answer i get)

Well yeah if she's calling you pathetic and stupid thats emotional abuse but obviously hitting you is physical abuse.
