This is actually an idea I have had for a while, but there's never seemed to be any demand for one. Spurred on by this thread, I have decided to make a thread dedicated to the RYL Arcade.
This thread can be used for all sorts of things linked into the Arcade, including:
- How to delete scores
- Any score troubles
- How to play games
- Troubles with games
- Ideas to improve the Arcade
- General chit-chat regarding the Arcade
I love the Arcade, and whilst I haven't had time to be in there & regain my titles recently it's still a great place.
In case people are wondering about the Arcade Tournament, it is stilling running. Chelsea and I have been insanely busy over the past few months hence why it's kind of come to a hault... but it hasn't been forgotten about.
It will be back up and running soon! So keep your eyes peeled and hopefully when this tournament is finished there will be another which runs a bit smoother!

Is there any way to stop some of the games automatically submitting your score? I know there probably isn't, but it's just a bit annoying.
Snake is great though.
Unfortunately on some of the games, no.
It is a pain in the arse, and I believe it would help to keep the scoreboard a lot more clean if it was possible on every game, but that's unfortunately not how it works at the moment.
^^ Yeah, that was my main concern. I use the arcade as a distraction and I only play a few of the games. So when I'm playing for quite a while my scores build up and can't always delete them, unless I'm missing something really obvious, which is quite possible.

I didn't think it was possible though.
On games where the score is automatically submitted, when it gets to the screen with the submitted scores, if you press add comment then the scoreboard will refresh and then next to your scores there should be a red cross (I think it's a cross) this means delete just click on that and then kapow it's done, sadly you have to delete scores individually though. Hope that helps some.

Yeah, I know of doing that. That gets boring, very, very quickly though.

but if you do it after each time your score is submitted it won't build it up.
I know its annoying cause I have somehow got the power to clean up the arcade scores and usually do the doubles and triples when I submit one of my own scores and sometimes it can take forever.

Ok so I think I found the spot to ask my question about the arcade. There are a couple of games that are out there I would like maybe to see on this site. Now I know not ALL games can be put on here, but is there a way to suggest a game or two (if we give the name or something??) Fairly simple and short like most of the games, but mind distracting, no violence. I also know that this question could bring an influx of wanted games... I just didnt want to start a thread on it alone.
Rachael, thought this might be a good place to point out that since the move to the CT, I've lost all my score deleting powers :(

I'm thinking, when I finally get my CT access, of setting up a group of people to help clear up the scoreboards. It's just an idea at the moment, though - and it's my idea, so don't steal it anyone!

New games are always open for suggestion, and I do know Harley was thinking of adding some new ones a little while back. :)
