okay so tomorrow im goipng to a hearing voices group. My CPN set it up for meand well im really nervous as ive never really classed myself in the hearing voices group as the think i hear isnt just a voice hes a spirit. Anyone ever been to one? i guess its a positive step though so hopefully itll go well.
I've never been to one I'm sorry, but It is a very positive step, I know it's nerve wrecking but I'm sure it will go fine :)

Hi. I know exactly what you mean. The voice I hear is a spirit, not in my head. But they've asked me to go to a hearing voices group.
I think it'll be a positive step for you, even if the voice isn't in your head, going to a group and talking about your experiences might make it feel a little more managable.

From what I understand, such groups are really open to people's difference understanding of what you're experiencing, and supporting you in ways of coping.

ive been told there should be another boy coming on tuesday so hopefully more and more people will start coming as it becomes more established. If anyone lives around the middlesbrough area you shlould come and give uit a try xx
