Has anyone had any of the above mentioned therapies? How did you feel about having it? Did you find it worked or didnt? Would you reccommend any to people? Thanks for looking .

ive heard of emdr and nlp.
both are really good-ive done emdr and a little nlp......it depends what you want the therapy for.
emdr is very specialised,where-as nlp can be used for a range of things.x

Sorry i haven't heard of them.

Perhaps you could Google it and see what comes up?

Sorry i couldn't be more helpful.

X

But if i still believe you love me, maybe i'll survive.
So i tell myself you're coming home, like you've done a million times.
& if it's alright, i'll still be loving you.
'cause i can't break it to my heart.

if im honest, for me the only therapy thats works well is cbt, just becuase i need things to be clear cut and definitive.
BUT out of emdr and nlp,id go with nlp.
you can move forward quicker with nlp,and learn more new things, whereas emdr is more about being able to protect yourself form your mind/thoughts/ and stuff and learning to make them less scary....

Isn't emdr when you talk about something and the therapist moves their hand side to side and you have to follow it left-right with ur eyes as u r talking about a traumatic experience and then the experience goes away? err...sorry if thats completely wrong...no therapy has helped me...*sob*
xx
