I've been craving. NEEDING a fix. A puppy fix. The puppy breath. The puppy kisses. The puppy playing. The puppy falling asleep in your lap after you've worn them out. Training the puppy, seeing just how fast they can learn. I just needed a puppy fix. Yes puppies pick up everything with their mouth. Yes they need constant watching. Constantly needing to go potty, even in the middle of the night. They are a lot of work. Yet, I still needed it. I've been waiting over 6 months for a puppy to come to me.
I got it today.
I have a pup in the house for a little over a week (he isn't mine, he's a client). He is a little pug. I'm in heaven. I'm tired as ever, and hardly getting a break (I only get a break when he has eaten and is in his crate digesting, or at night), but I LOVE IT!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!
He loves to chase the laser pointer dot (something my dog loves). When I first played with him with it, he didn't know the most important rule. To stop. I had to teach him how to stop. There are stories I hear about how dogs freak out about the laser pointer dot, and everytime they think they see it they freak out. I've played with many different dogs. They know the rules. The dot only comes from me. They must do a command before I turn it on. When it is on, have fun chasing it. When I say it is time to stop, we stop.
Sorry, no pictures are available (no working camera in the house).
*takes a big sigh*
I've got my fix
