It's going to be bad. Currently, it's a white spot, over an inch long and about a half an inch wide. Pretty soon it'll rise up and welt- but I can't feel anything in the burn area. I kind of want to know how to help it before it starts to become a serious problem.
I made it about ten minutes ago... Other burns would have blistered by now; well, at least from experience. The problem is, I use the area of my burn- it tends to rub against things, and the blister comes off. It will most likely get infected; but I can't really wear bandages...
How can I prevent infection? Is it bad that I feel no pain when I touch the burn, like when you burn yourself while cooking? Ah... and is there anything else I should know about burn care?
Ah- thank you for your time.

You need to go a see a doctor, the burn that you are describing is a 3rd degree burn (white and no pain) that means that you have burned the tissue all the way through the fat layer on your body.
There is a huge risk of infection, and you will need proper burn care by a doctor to treat this and possibly antibiotics.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
The fact that you cant feel the burn depends on what you used to make it. However, in general, it shows that you have probably gone through to deeper tissue. You should get this checked out in order to prevent further complications. If you begin to feel sick then you should be seen immediately.
Burns can become infected very easily. So it may require further treament.
take care. be carefull and keep and eye on it as as the mods say they can become infected really easily and by the sounds of things it is quite serous, so i think u should go and get it checked out by a doctor.
keep us posted on how thing are going

Reason: Encouragement of unsafe homeopathic remedy
Good bye to everyone on RYL, for various reasons im leaving this site and i will never return. This may make some of you happy, and others sad. Im not leaving because of the members... Good bye and have a nice life
Obsession please DO NOT under any circumstances put the substance he suggested on a burn, at any point in time. You NEVER EVER EVER EVER want to put any sort of cream, gel, goo or ointment on a burn until well after it has cooled because no matter what it is it will trap some heat in with the burn.
An antibacterial cream is a MUCH MUCH better substance to use on a burn and will encourage proper healing.
Take care.
