Im trying to understand
why it has to be this way
I feel like everything I do
contradicts everything I say

Im running towards you
while you simply stand there
is it too much to ask
if I want you to care

but youre a few feet away
I wish that you didnt dance
with her, the night away

Its happenning again
I wont stop bleeding
if I could hold you close
it would re-begin the healing

we never get the time
to see eachother outside
only if I come over
and half the time we hide.
