Triggering (SI) - Everything going wrong at once

I'd heard bad luck comes in 3s, but guess no one told luck that

so to start off last few weeks I've been having wrist pains, so bad on Friday that I rearranged my computer at work to work left handed, am seeing the dr about this tomorrow

on top of this, I went snowboarding on saturday (not a good idea with bad wrists but never mind) and I broke my bindings - fine they were cheap anyway, I could live with that on its own. bought some new ones (£150)
get home the tv I set my computer to record didn't record because parents decided to save electricity! how annoying

and now yesterday get in the car to go to work and my front suspension decides that its had enough of holding my car up off my wheel and snaps, so I now need replacements. more expense, I couldn't really afford the bindings now I need to pay for car repairs.

So I'm now sat waiting for the AA to show up with the right towing equipment (which of course cost more money coz I didn't have home recovery included). The first pickup guy calls oh, I dont have that equipment I'll have to call the office, so I'm waiting for a call thats not coming because as I found out when I called them to see what was going on, my parents have put a withheld number block on the phone so they couldn't get through!

And on top of that I'm trying to work from home and that's not working properly but then I wasn't having much luck with the work from the office nevermind trying it remote, I'm getting seriously stressed here, can't concentrate on my work and am struggling to ignore the urges

On a plus side I've got to about 1.5 months SI free

and now I've written all that glanced at the spelling and grammar mistakes :) - I'm much calmer and not even sure if this is worth posting now

oh anyone any tips on how to convince parents to loan money for a holiday? as I've pretty much been forced to spend all I'd saved for it on repairs

Ugh, sounds like a very crappy day. I'm glad that venting here helped and I hope things get better soon. As for the money? Hmm, tell your parents it's for orphaned kittens......or something.

Yeah, blame the kittens! And if writing it all down made you feel calmer then it was definately worth posting.
Well done on the month and half, keep up the good work
You could try explaining to your folks that you had the money saved and its not your fault you had to spend it all on repairs and stuff and they can trust you pay whatever you borrow back. I find the straight up approach usually works best with parents. (Please note... I did say usually..)

well think I've gotten out of the cost of repairs was stuck in work so had my dad pick it up for me, n of course that's when you pay the bill :) now I just need him to forget I owe £250,
sounds like I might be able to convince them to loan me some money for a holiday too especially as it'll be a week without a computer :)

things have already started picking up apart from the wrist pain which is tendinitis (maybe I shouldn't be typing) anyway yeah new bindings arrived yesterday afternoon, while I was home so no car was good as I couldnt get to work :) n I actually got some work done today so a lot less stressed now - yay

cheers :)
day's off are always good but they expected me to work from home, that's hard work when your computers full of games, just sooo much temptation :)

Do have to admit had a really bad night last night, but got through it with the help of a good friend
