the one thing i didnt want to happen has happened....arguement with my partner...about drinking. me, specifically - he has his reasons for it <i.e. he hates me drunk> but i thought i had been quite abstemious, and an innocent remark i made on msn turned into a row

i know i can be a bit, well - too much drunk, but tonight i really wasnt and i feel like i cant talk to him at All about anything if he even gets the slightest hint of me drinking....nothing i say counts or has any weight to it at all.....
I've not been here for ages, so am a bit bewildered by new design...like i said ages - hope this is the right place to post....am 35 and regretting ever ****ing year on this planet right now

You're in the right place, Welcome back! The new design is a little scary at first, but you get used to it.
Your partner is probably worried about you, why don't you ask him why he's so worried? Sometimes its a good idea to see it from the other side, then you'll at least know whether he is just worried or whether hes going over the top. Hes your partner, hes supposed to be there for you, and worry about you. I'm sorry this isnt the best advice, but I want you to know I read, and I care.

Please take care of yourself hun, Christmas is such a difficult time of year for anybody but especially for people like us who find life hard anyway! Do something nice for yourself that doesn't involve alcohol, have a relaxing bath with some scented candles or listen to some music that you enjoy.

i think i may have ruined the relationship with the one person that has kept me together for nearly a year and a half.
