But say you had Cancer or a terminal illness would you want to know?
I was just thinking, because I have a lump in my back that doesn't hurt and I forget about and moves around and stuff and has never caused me problems.
Then I suddenly thought, what if it was something serious?
Would I want to know?
If it was serious would it make me change any of my behaviour etc?
no i wouldnt want to know coz then i could live life normally.
yet it kills m.
" my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you" you were carried out of are lifes into the next and when its my time to leave this life I know i will be carried into the next life with you.
I wish i had my world complete again.
'Can we protend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, i could really use a wish right now' BoB
I would want to know purely so I could spend the rest of my time not doing stuff I hate, and doing everything I've always wanted to, with the people I love.
So yeah... Even though I would become extremely depressed, I think by the end I would accept it! To an extent.
Yup, I'd definitely want to know so I could stop moping around feeling sorry for myself and actually go out into the world and do whatever the hell I want without caring.
The only time you will find real light is when you're searching in the dark..
Yes I would.
Cancer can be treated.
Sooner the better.
Go get checked.
"Be nice. Think happy thoughts. Champion silver linings. Love all things (not just cute things like babies and kittens) & when you do love - love like they do in power ballads (you know like on a cliff with the wind in your hair and your eyes shut, knowing you'll never know love like this). Watch out for dog poo. Smile at people - even grumpy ones. Remember anything is possible & whatever you do always try to look on the bright side."
I'd want to know for the sake of the people who care about me so they'd get a chance to get used to the idea of me dying instead of it suddenly happening.
But then I don't think being told that would make much difference to how I acted, I'd still feel sorry for myself.
It’s not always that easy to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys,
Sinners can surprise you and the same is true for saints.
Why do we try to define people with simply good or simply evil?
Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart and that anyone is capable of anything.
I kinda find it funny how people say it would make them live and whatever. You could die tomorrow, or next week, next month, have some tragic accident, why should it take cancer/terminal illness to make you live your life?
And although most people say they'd want to know, if it actually came down to the fact you did find a lump, would you actually go straight to the doctors? because although i'd want to know, i know i wouldn't go to the doctors, at least not for a while.
It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own
I would want to know. I found a lump last year. It was cancer. But I'm ok now. If I'd left it I may not be here. If I ever got a lump again I'd want to know because I'd be constantly worrying about it - it's best to know one way or the other. It can be treated and if not I'd want to say goodbye.

I'm determined not to let cancer kill me. If it comes back and I'm going to die I'd rather be in control of it and kill myself. That may sound bad but I don't want that evil thing to win.
Sometimes the way in life seems cloudy...But remember, after the storm comes clear skies
The risk of terminal illness is a key reason why I keep a firearm handy, granted I likely won't need it for 50+ years. I've seen my family members die like rats on a table, squirming in fear and pain as the doctors try to extend their lives for an extra week or less of misery. It wouldn't change my behavior in the meantime, but once I started becoming too weak to defend myself I'd cut it short and save everyone the trouble. I'd want to know so I knew what was happening when I started becoming weak.
