wireless routers and macs

ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!

My flatmate and I spent nearly 2 hours last night trying to configure her mac pc to accept our new wireless router. We got it to travel fine down the ethernet cable, but when we d/c that, nothing connected, and Airport wouldn't recognise anything.
We had password and passphrase and name boxes coming out of our ears!

Yep. this was 8.30pm. guess what time the helpline closes? 8pm. that's right.

did you try just setting up a new network on the mac via airport? it might work that way..or you can also restart the router, but if you have password for that router, that needs to be setup again on every pc/mac that is using thta router..
