[center]" I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside."
when I was about 13/14 i cut "I hate myself and want to die" into my arm, like literally the whole phrase, it sounds really cliched, but at the time it just seemed to sum me up, but it freaked me out a fair bit.
I never did before then and I never have done since
weird, I know.............
Not that uncommon though, hope you're ok
I normally just cut lines, but I've cut words a few times. I usually end up regretting it though, since it's pretty much impossible to pass off as accidental, even though it hasn't been deep enough to scar at least. Of the three people I know outside of RYL who cut, at least two have cut words before. As others have said, it's actually relatively common.

I haven't, but I was planning on doing it before I was kinda forced to quit cutting. But personally, I like the look of just plain lines, and I think they speak to me as much as words would, if that makes any sense. Oh, but I did make a heart once.
That being said, it is very common, as others have said, so you're definitely not the only one.

Ive done this once a couple of years ago.Not for the usual reasons but just out of pure hatred towards myself.Thankfuly it was only surface scratching so it faded completley. I hated it more than every single scar i had.
I did it before on my inner forearm and then I realised it was a bad idea.I did it like two years ago and I stil have the word "freak" scarred into my arm. Thankfully the "a" is a bit messed up and it looks like "free" now.
