stopped one of my meds
I feel like I am starting to sink. I had to stop a medication after moving to another state and not getting a prior authorization. There is just no way to get it and it is so stupid because I have tried most of the other anti-depressants with no luck. I'm really starting to feel like crap and I have no control over it. Stupid insurance.

I'm afraid I don't understand the what you mean by prior authorisation, but if there's no way to get this medication again, could you ask a doctor which medication that they can prescribe is most like that one? It sounds really annoying that you can't have access to a medication that has helped you. Maybe you could contact the doctor who prescribed it to you initially and ask their advice on how to access it from your new state?

The new medication does not seem to be helpful and anxiety is not helping in recent job interviews.

I'm sorry you're not finding it helpful so far. How long did it take to start working the first time you were on it?

Hiya,
I understand the frustration you have over medication. It can be tricky to find the right ones that work for you and a sense of balance with them. I really do think that it takes time and patience. Sorry to hear that your latest meds are not helping. Could you discuss this with your doctor? Don't give up on meds just yet, your current prescription might just not be the right one for you.
How have the job interviews been going? They can be stressful enough. Could you try some calming techniques to help you out with them?

I feel like I bombed the last interview and it sounded like a great job. I was so nervous and stuttering and repeating myself. The medication I was on was really helping but was not covered when insurance changed.

Lots of people can come across as nervous in interviews a good interview panel will try to look beyond the nerves hopefully they will to.
Would anything else help you be less nervous in any subsequent interviews.
It is a shame that your old medication wasn't covered by your new insurance. Some medications can make you more anxious initially hopefully with time it will start to work better. Do you have a review of this medication booked in?

How're you feeling?

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
Who else is fine?!?!?

I feel really good about this. There are a lot of unknowns making me nervous but I think that I just need to take this leap. It feels right.

Congratulations on the job offer, that’s brilliant news! It’s natural to be a bit nervous, and hopefully that will subside a little once you get the first day out of the way and it isn’t such a big unknown anymore! When do you start?
