Got two red blood alerts from clozapine and they now want me on risperidone

The Clozapine was making a huge difference, I'm completely heartbroken that I can't continue.

Does anybody have any positive/negative experiences of being on risperidone?

:(

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face

When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

I had a really bad reaction to risperidone and it gave me really bad Parkinsonism symptoms, however most people are fine. However if you notice any unusual shaking whilst on it I would say that you shouldnt ignore it and get it seen to asap.

Rispiridone really helped my psychosis and i know many who it has helped too.
The only reason I came off it was because my Prolactin levels were high. But i would definitely recommend it.

Risperidone really helped me. I've been on it for over a year now. I didn't get any major side effects. I did shake but that was more my anxiety. Like, it wasn't completely involuntary. It did make me gain weight though, but I was on a lot of other meds too so it might not have been the Risperidone that did it.
