you see them walking down the street, but how many notice them, REALLY notice them??
They are an annoyance, a mess only kids love em....
Leaves, falling leave....
that is how i feel.
Ground underfoot, shattered and mangled,
the pain so immense at times its toooo much to even feel
Just old, used up, my turn is done...
or maybe i will escape and be set free to and fro, maybe be admired for a moment or two...
be picked as a child's leaf to trace....
be somehting
just for awhile
my time almost seems at an end here
and there,
and there...
go out in a blaze of glory, just like a pile of leaves...
leaves can be beautiful but i personally don't like em. they smell, they go mushy and slippery, no-body seems to clear them up, dog poo is hidden amongst them too easily. *hrmph* leaves are bad.
however we had to collect interesting shaped ones to make templates from, we cut (with teachers help) the shapes out of flattened tin cans and then blow torched them to make pretty patterns, we made a 'class tree' and won first place in a local sculpture competition.

I AM A PROUD PLUMERIA SISTER
I love leaves...
I love them for their idividuality... all different colours and textures
I love them when they are budding in the spring full of hope and new life
I love them when they are in the summer all lush like mother nature is enfolding me in her green arms
I love them in the autumn when I can go crunching through them for a totally different sensory experience... and i can throw them up in the air to go twirling back down again
I love the ones that survive the winter for their strength and durability
what isnt there to love in leaves just like in you?
that old leaf will turn into mulch and fertilise a whole new cycle of life just like how you're feeling will cycle away and into something new like those swings and roundabouts of life Im so fond of referring to.
Where there is life there is hope. hold on huni the winter will pass and spring will come again for you
hey guys, at least there aren't zillions of acres of leaves burning where you are! (major scarcasm. one of the major files in so cal is just four miles from my home and i am one of the lucky ones. doubly lucky since our terrific next door neighbor is making sure our tortoise isn't bothered by the ash.)
i love it when things come back in the spring, the savory sage-y smell of the desert scrub.
death provides the energy for rebirth.
My husband is my best friend.
In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.
I think of leaves like shaving cream, it shows me how much of the lawn is left to cut. Other than that I don't venture outside enough to notice them except in a car, and then leaves are nothing compared to snow and ice.
I love the autumn and the leaves. I love watching them change color. I'm not such a fan of raking them up sometimes. But that might have something to do with my family already has raked up about thirty bags. We normally rake up about a hundred.
I love them. I love laying in the piles, I love watching them blow in the wind, I love smelling them, I love how they all feel different, I love the shapes,
you made me cry.....which is a good thing. i needed to. its been "stuck" for a while.
and yes....i have felt those feelings.
sorry i dont have anything inspirational to say about leaves.
my brain cant be bothered.
but i did love to make huge piles of them as a kid and run and jump in them.
*sending love*
