Didn't pick meds up.

I didn't have meds last night and I didn't pick them up today so I won't have them tonight either. I always think "oh, a couple of doses won't make a difference." It always does though. I'm on 3 meds, venlafaxine being one of them. It causes hell in my head when I don't take it. I feel sick and anxious and tearful. I feel shaky and headachy and there are pops in my brain. It's my own fault, but every time I'm sure I'll be ok. I hate feeling like this, but at the same time, at least it's real. It's not medicated, so this is what it's supposed to be like. It plays games with me. I'll start taking it again tomorrow and be OK. Maybe. I am silly.

Thanks Ballerina. *hug*

Thankfully my pharmacy opens on a Sunday, so i can pick them up tomorrow. It's there ready for me to collect as I use their prescription collection service. I should have picked them up yesterday, but was busy then and today and told myself that the meds aren't important. Half of me thinks I'm stupid. Half of me thinks that the drugs just mask what should really be happening. I'll take them tomorrow, probably. I get detained every time I don't and I shouldn't really do that to my family again. But part of me thinks, what if I just ride it out? Would it be OK?

Honestly ... probably not. It would be a shame to put your family through that again, but it would be even worse to put yourself through that again. You really don't deserve that. I hope you've managed to collect them and are feeling better. Venlafaxine withdrawal in particular is very unpleasant from what I remember

And the illusion of love is the only promise of defence, and even that will crumble.
