problem escalates

I don't know what's going on something isn't right. I can't really explain it, so... Let's imagine you are afraid of horror movies but watched one movie right before bedtime. You won't be able to sleep because the image of the ghost/monster is still in your mind in fact your head would start projecting images of those monsters crawling under your bed or in front of your window. Right? THAT is what I'm having =( and no, I didn't watch any horror movies before bedtime. But it feels like I did. I'm not hallucinating but I'm really scared I won't even let my feet touch the ground as my floor tiles are dark-colored and I'm afraid I won't be able to see it if a hand shows up and grabbed my leg or impossible things like that. I can't sleep in any position because I'm afraid something--usually the image that appears is a bloody monster--would crawl behind me and it's really hard to find a sleeping position where you can keep an eye on every sides. I don't always experience this but it's annoying to have it, even occasionally. I also start to lose focus/attention easily and it made me gave up on reading--my previous hobby. I don't know what is happening and what is causing it will a school counselor know what to do? Parents don't know what am I dealing with (in fact they don't care) so no therapist visit for me =(

no that's fine replying is good enough :D well they're so busy with their own life and doesn't seem too interested about what's going on in my life :( my mom, especially, often scolds me for being sick (yes you read that correctly) so I feel kinda uncomfortable telling them that I am "sick" =\

What do you think about writing a letter down, and giving it to someone - counsellor, parents, family friend, teacher?

It might seem scary, or frightening now, but they may be able to help you.

It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

I get what tou describe, but it always passes. And the only advice i have is avoid things like horror movies that will put more ideas in your head

He was no longer jean valjean but no. 24601 -les miserable

Some of life's mysteries will never be solved, such as why, after spending an entire evening listenong to Bach, do I find myself humming "the birdie song".......

I am reaching, but i fall, and the stars are black and cold, as i stare into the void of a world that cannot hold- les miserables
