Help?

To cut a long story short, I used to live in Wales in supported accomodation then I moved down to England to live with my fiance. We both pay half the rent each. Well we're meant to and this is where the problem starts.
He said to me last night that if I don't have all the money for the rent next month then I'm out. And I know I won't have the money. Not even if I keep it all back when I get money and stuff. I only get £90 or something like that every two weeks. I've been giving him some money towards it which I can barely afford anyway but it's better than not giving him anything right?
Anyway, I'm not going to have the money and judging from past experience I'll probably be found intentionally homeless again.
So what exactly are my options?
I'm not on the housing list yet because I just haven't got around to it. I could go private rented but then it's cancelling this claim I've started for housing benefit and then making a new one. Then there's the fact I might not even get it.
So confused and upset right now, I just can't think straight. It's not the first time I'll have been homeless and I only have one person that I can stay with. I don't want to ask her though because I've brought all this on myself and don't deserve anybody else helping me out with sleeping somewhere

Did he know about your financial situation before you moved in? Also, if he's your fiance, would he really leave you homeless?

If your friend is a good friend, I can't see her refusing to help you just cos you feel the situation's your fault - we all make mistakes. How would you feel if the situation was reversed and she was asking you for help?

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Yeah, he knew. Said he would pay some of my half of the rent until I got a job. Been looking for a job for the past month and not had anything yet. And he said that he can't afford to keep doing it so if I don't have the money I'm gone next month. And there's no way I'm going to have the money.
I know my friend won't refuse it but I'd feel so bad asking her. She's got enough going on at the moment without me adding to it.
He said yesterday morning he didn't mean it but then yesterday afternoon he changed his mind again. So confused right now. I'm just tempted to move out anyway cos I can't take this anymore

Have you looked into Housing Benefit depending on your partners salary you may be eligible for some?

Secondly is it a joint tenancy or is it his tenancy and you are living with him?

Yeah, I'm in the middle of applying for it now which he doesn't seem to get. To be honest, he never listens to me and I've explained this to him so many times that I've just given up now.
Nobody in the house has a tenancy agreement. Which means that if anything happens the outcome probably won't be good. I don't even know.

Somebody must have a tenancy agreement unless your boyfriend or his family own it?

If you aren't on the tenancy agreement then I reckon should he kick you out you would be in a stronger position to ask the council for help in rehousing you as having no contract means that you haven't fallen into arrears. Obviously you are going to need to satisfy the other conditions such as the vulnerability clause but I wouldnt discount it.

I've not seen anybody with one. Asked the landlord about it and he said that no one has one here. Odd.
I had the same problem with my ex. He kicked me out and the council wouldn't help me cos I left my old accommodation when I could have stayed. I'm probably in the same situation now if I was to be kicked out. I don't know what's going on at the moment. One minute he's saying I have to go then the next he's saying he doesn't want me to go and he only said it cos he was angry and taking everything out on me. It's really not fair but I'm just ignoring him for now and letting him sweat.
I just hate how first thing in the morning he wakes me up all the time for this and then it puts me on a downer for the rest of the day.
I'll sort something out though

I made a huge reply and then lost it!

Basically go now and lodge a homeless application with the council you can do this as it is not your fault he is kicking you out. If he kicks you out then you will be also be able to get advice of them on what to do to avoid being made intentionally homeless.

I was in this situation last year and had to follow set steps should the worse happen in the end I had to wait in for the bailiffs and when they arrived then and only then could I leave!!

Dont mention the fact he is changing his mind they wont offer to help and to be honest if he is willing to kick you out over this I'd take a long hard look at your relationship - I do know it's easy me saying this and there is likely to be a lot more going on that you haven't posted about!

If you are on the tenancy agreement then its a different situation as non payment of rent means that you are in effect making yourself intentionally homeless but it doesnt sound like you are which is a good thing so don;t sign any contracts!!!!

I think things are ok for now. We had a big chat about things and got everything up. Still having domestics but it's something we're working on. Think we're both just so stressed over the lack of money and my inability to be able to get a job that it's getting on top of us. I'm going to try and save up for a deposit just in case the worst does happen. Sorry for wasting everyone's time, feel well bad now :/
