Can people hear my thoughts?
is it possible to block them out ? Also can you meet people in dreams and talk to them ,like deliberatley?

It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.

Hello there

"Can people hear my thoughts?

Can people hear your thoughts? Short answer, no. We've all felt like this some times :), me included. I can't really go into any depth with an answer for you, unfortunately, but i highly doubt people can read your mind.

Also, about talking to people in dreams....Say through out the day, we see some one who looks familiar and then we totally forget about....when we sleep, we might be dreaming about people we know and all of a sudden this other person will pop into the dream, simply because your brain remembers seeing them earlier in the day, and some how creates a link....(Like looking like some one you know)....and out of curiosity, you could speak to them in your dream.....and ask them questions you might have thought about when you saw them.....Like...."Why do you look like some one i know".....

I'm going on personal experience here and i hope it helps

I'm sorry no one replied very quick I just think sometimes people don't know what to say when asked direct questions like this as some answers may be more damaging or hurtful than good. I don't think I've got any useful words but the above poster has some good points, just wanted to let you know i care and hope you're ok and pleasetake care of yourself xxx

Hi honey :)

No one can hear your thoughts. If you are thinking really deeply and accidently say it out loud that is the only way anyone would ever know what your thinking - if you tell them!

To block who out?

I'm not sure about the dream thing. I have dreams about real life people and situation and sometimes aren't sure if it was just a dream or not and have to call those people to make sure.

Last night I had a dream of a tv show but it was like I was really in it and they were really real. It was kind of scary.

You cant meet someone in a dream and talk to them and it being real as in the next day they'd know what you said.

I'm not really sure what you mean about that last one.

I really hope you are feeling better. If you feel like your not sure whats going on and maybe need help or guidance then see your Doctor, tell them everything that has been going on.

They can refer you to a guidance tutor, a Councillor, psychologist, psychiatrist, mental health team.. etc.

Take care sweetie x

What is it that makes you think your sister read your mind?

No people can't read your thoughts. I can't read my own never mind anyone else's. But seriously, they can't, and I have thought this too at times and I know it can be very convincing and you're determined it's true, but it's just not possible.
I sometimes wake up thinking i must contact someone who was in my dream and tell them what happened, I soon realise this would just prob freak them out and annoy them so I don't, but I've never thought about actually speaking to someone in a dream. I wouldn't say so though. I mean, a dream is onoly in your own mind (same as your thoughts) so no one else would be able to see it or dream it.
Whatever else is going on, I hope you're ok.

What I meant to say is that dreams can seem very real but they're not.

In reality people can't hear your thoughts. However I do understand how worrying/frightning that can be as I have the same problem.

Dream wise, to go up and talk to someone and you know you are doing that/know you are in a dream, completely normal and it's called lucid dreaming.

Don't forget the brain works out problems whilst you're asleep.

I've kept it brief as you were quite distressed no one answered quickly and i know what its like when you need a quick straight answer. That's not to take anything away from any other member in the meantime.

If they are still on here, you need to report it.
