venlafaxine

I just started back on venlafaxine after a 3 to 4 month break...before that i had been taking it for a couple years. The thing is, starting back on it has left me exhausted....all i want to do is sleep all the time....have started on 75mg and it is being stepped up weekly for the next couple weeks. I just wondered if anyone else had felt like this?

Hi yeah I'm on it. Have been for a year and half now. I'm on 375mg a day and I am really wiped out. I could sleep all day. I have ten hours at night and on my days off I can do 4-5 hours sleep during the day too. Its terrible and hasnt worn off at all.

i found the opposite with venlafaxine... i'm on 150mg+100mg of quetiapine in the am and 75mg+300mg at night, the night venlafaxine makes me wake up at a normal time in the morning (between 7 and 8:30)... the 100mg quetiapine makes me sleepy in the morning... but not the venlafaxine =s

Nope, venlafaxine made my insomnia [and other stuff] worse. Which is why mirtazapine is a better med for me.
