So I haven't taken any of my meds in like at least a month. I don't know why, I guess I just haven't felt like it. They are anti-depressants and mood stabilizers, but I have felt fine without them. I kind of feel like my mood has always just done its own thing no matter what meds I take or what doctors I see. But the thing is, I know someone will find out eventually, like my parents, and probably freak out because they won't understand. So I don't really know why I am posting this, I guess I'm just asking for comments or advice.

If you feel that medication isn't really benefiting you as much as it could be then it's really important that you talk to whoever prescribed it to you. There are other things that you could do instead to try and help you to feel better, maybe medication isn't right for you. Or perhaps it isn't the right type of medication for you to be taking. Do what you feel is best for you, remember that it's your choice what treatment you take part in. I hope you're alright. Please get in touch any time. Take care. xxx

Well if your parents see you're doing well, perhaps in the long run you can tell them you quit taking your meds. They might not be as worried.
