Bands With Deep Lyrics?
Hey everyone. I wanna get into more bands, but...there are a lotta bands in the world. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good bands with deep and kinda obscure or cryptic lyrics? Since my favorite bands tend to be like that, and I'm big on lyrics. Seems like a lotta musical diversity on here, and I like pretty much any kind of music, so, figured I'd ask.

I think Nine Inch Nails and Tool both have great lyrics...

Some stuff by Trapt and Lacuna Coil are really powerful lyrically. Check them out.

Bloc Party and Arcade Fire are the first two that spring to mind. And on the Paloma Faith topic, Regina Spektor is pretty cute too.

The Spill Canvas, some of their songs have really strong meanings to me.
Listen to "Appreciation and the Bomb" - "Self Conclusion" and "Your Evil Soul" great lyrics.

Seeing as you're a fan of Linkin Park - Fort Minor.
It's Mike Shinoda's own rap band, and most of his songs have clever, but deep lyrics.

Maybe it's just me but I've always loved "the Weakerthans" for their lyrics. I can never get bored of them.
